Grass Fire Damages At Mewar Hartley Property

A grass fire at the Mewar Hartley property behind Gray View venue destroyed wood, a saw table, a saw motor, fruit trees and amber storage. Firefighters from the Layward Highlands department aided by neighbors contained the blaze before volunteers arrived. The total damage is listed as 3400 dollars with additional 4400 dollars attributed. Chief Yin Dakine commended the department for rapid response.
