SACRAMENTO AP The Department of Water Resources says more than 185 million will be spent in the next few years on California Aqueduct construction from San Joaquin County south to Wingy County. William Warne director said a speech prepared for a lay dinner but the state will spend 100 million on the aqueduct and the Delia pumping plant west of Tracy, county will pay 42 percent of the remaining, 5 Trillion. The WS Burrow or Reclama tion will pay the rest, he said Warne said the 30 mil pumping plant biggest single job is to be completed in the winter of 1957.
