Hearings Set on Crossings Priority List For 1987
The California Public Utilities Commission announced hearings in October to establish a 1987 priority list of railroad at grade crossings needing alteration. Art Festival Set At Lenmoor Shopping Center
Fremont Art Association will hold its sixth annual festival at Lenmoor Shopping Center August 19 and 20 under Genevieve Hammond. The show opens 10 a.m. daily and runs to 9 p.m. on August 18 9 p.m. August 19 and 6 p.m. August 20. Meanwhile highway officials plan to set aside five million dollars yearly for safety projects with allocations to cities based on priority and traffic data. Cities must nominate crossings by August 23 and provide traffic counts train frequency and cost estimates for consideration.
