In federal court New York Mrs Myrna Soblie 53 and Jacob Albam 65 were each sentenced to five and a half years for spying for the Soviet Union. Soblie’s husband Jack Sobie 54 had his sentence postponed to Sept 18. Abel, accused spy chief, pleaded innocent in Brooklyn as authorities said no link between Abel and Sobl e operations.
