Mass Slaying Grew From Love Triangle in Hollywood
In Hollywood three Weinstein family members and a wealthy wife were shot to death as a suspected love triangle unravelled. Fred Chegwin, former son in law, allegedly killed Myra Weinstein 46 and Rosemary Weinstein 23 and a 1-year-old child before killing himself. A maid reported hearing 18 shots after Chegwin learned of dismissal. Police found Jason Scott, 3, cowering near his dead mother. The motive centered on an affair and mounting tensions within Weinstein’s circle.
