Police Question Ex-Con in Fatal Stabbing in S.F.
San Francisco police questioned an ex convict about the fatal stabbing of Chinatown hardware merchant Loak Der. Tommy Fong, accompanied by an attorney, appeared at the Hall of Justice as homicide inspectors sought details. Others questioned and released included On, Sam Mee. Rita Miller was also freed. Police say Der was killed Friday night during a robbery of about 30000.

Quarry Permits Before Planners In Alameda County
Alameda County planning commission will hold public hearings Tuesday at 1 30 p m in the courthouse on two quarry permit applications.
