Tax Rate Drops In City Set Rent Hearing Date
Bayward taxpayers may see a lower tax rate this year with a city levy of 270,006 dollars for the 1060-51 fiscal year. Most residents would pay 1.71, with Muir district at 1.58, while the general fund is 1.00 and library 2.2. The rate reflects annexation effects and county tax roll adjustments, with potential savings from lower assessments and a county-levied collection.
