Prince Charles Prepares for Naval Career at Sea
London reports Prince Charles, now 23 and a royal navy sub lieutenant, serves a three year hitch aboard the missile destroyer HM Norfolk after Dartmouth training. He grew up amid sailing tales with his father Prince Philip and Earl Mountbatten, learned seamanship, and will transfer to the frigate Minerva in November as he aims to sail toward kingship.
