Woman Receives Hayward Distinguished Citizen Award

Kimiko Fujii was named Hayward's Distinguished Citizen at a Lions Club luncheon at Elegant Kaneh. She is the first woman to receive the honor since its inception in 1932 and is active in the family business Mujil Co. Inc. and its Fujii Worsh gallet. During World War II her family were placed in a concentration camp, later she attended the University of Wisconsin earning botany and art history majors. She enjoys cooking writing haiku poetry and attending art shows and concerts.

Mitchell says conscience clear over Watergate involvement
