State trims milk price by average two cents per half gallon

Hayward Man Arrested After House Fire Burned House and Glass Shattered
James R. Collins 3 year old Hayward man, injured in a blaze that destroyed his home on Ormond Avenue, faces arson-related charges. Police say he started the fire over a dispute with his wife about money from selling the house. He is hospitalized in critical condition with burns and smoke inhalation.
