Study Ordered On Narcotics Cure Measure
In Sacramento a plan to treat narcotics addiction as a disease rather than crime was ordered studied for two more years. Sen Joh Hollister Jr. of Goleta sponsored the measure patterned after England's narcotics law allowing doctors to prescribe narcotics to addicts to cure them or keep them manageable.
