Windmill fans save old structure from demolition
In Fremont two windmill enthusiasts moved a dismantled eight acre windmill from a Warn Springs ranch to Sunol to protect it from being torn down. The 3,000 year old antique was donated to the city after Builders agreed not to prosecute Jim Berry and Linden Hill for removing and relocating the windmill with a crane. Mrs. Silva praised the restoration and called the windmill part of the area's history.
