After two days of searching about 60 square miles, two Coast Guard planes gave up the hunt Sunday for the Morro Bay trawler Laura R missing since Friday with two men aboard. Two Quentin Convicts Hurt in Easter Day Quarrel
SAN QUENTIN AP Two Sen Quentin Prison convicts were wounded in separate Easter Day incidents. Norman Maiden 21 of Los Angeles was stabbed while watching a prison movie and Walter Carey 33 of Los Angeles serving time for narcotics was slashed above the eye during a meal melee. Carey chased his attacker Leroy Taylor through the mess hall before guards intervened.
