The dispute centers on the line crossing scenic foothill areas and potential impact on Skylae Boulevard development. The commission scheduled a public hearing.
In Crystal City Texas a 10 000 resident town installed five Mexican American council members elected April 2. The new group, sworn in at 1 pm, elected Juan Cor rejo mayor and kept City Manager James Dill.
