SAN FRANCISCO A man tentatively identified as M/Sgt. Kiah Wampler, 56, of the U S Army, apparently leaped to his death today from the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. He landed in the bay near Pier 26 after witnesses say he vaulted over the railing following a confrontation on the bridge.
