Bodies Of Girl And Two Women Found In Orchard Area
In Watervliet Michigan a seven year old girl Diane Carter a 60 year old Amelia Boyer and a 37 year old Merysee Jones were found murdered in an orchard area near Benton Harbor. Investigators say the Carter girl was strangled with a stocking and her clothing torn. Boyer was found nude with vestiges of clothing. Jones was decapitated with a head later found in a nearby abandoned building. Carter and Jones were Black. Boyer was White. Jones had been missing about three months. Boyer disappeared March 27 with purse and keys found at her laundry.
