Bank of England Missing Clerk John Waite Wanted

On June 1 1741 a clerk named John Waite of about forty years vanished from the Bank of England where he served as one of the Carers of the Sak. He is described as tall with grey eyes and a fair complexion. Bonds of East India valued at a large sum are believed to be involved. A reward of 500 pounds is offered for his capture or securement. David Legros secretary announces the search and rewards.
