East-India House September 24 1726 the Directors of the United Company of Merchants of England trading to the East Indies announce a March first next pay date for principal and interest on bonds bearing more than three percent. After that time interest ceases and current bondholders may exchange at Leadenhall Street for new bonds bearing three percent annual interest from March 31 with six months notice. Interest on three and a half percent bonds will be paid at bond marking for exchange and new bonds will be accepted as payment for goods bought at company sales when six months interest is due.
