Brass cannon cast for Queen of Hungary gift in London

Six pieces of brass cannon include two 24 Pounders and four 16 Pounders recently cast at Woolwich with the Queen of Hungary’s arms. John Innys to command a company in General Hargrove’s Regiment at Gibraltar. Alexander Hume elected MP for Southwark by 41, defeating William Hammond by about 70 on the poll. A Lieutenancy court at Guildhall confirmed the new officers.
