At the General Meeting on 8th Instant the Proprietors of the South Sea Company appointed a committee to nominate Directors for the upcoming election. The report lists gentlemen for Governor Deputy Governor and Directors including Peter Burrell Francis Wilks and 28 named directors, with unanimous approval and authority given to the committee to call persons as needed. The election for Governors is on the 3rd of the next month.
