Edward C Gray asks Plymouth County District Court to foreclose and quiet title on land in township 40 range 44 asking that liens be set junior to a prior mortgage to Lysander Grover. The case lists many defendants including Hawkere Insurance and Moline Plow Company. A hearing set for February 26 1882 with default risk if not appeared.
The District Court in Plymouth County Iowa at the February term 1882 is notified that Edgar Munson sues Charles Mathews Dr. Thomas W Johnson and Thomas M Graves seeking to void deeds and quiet title to parts of sections in Plymouth County and to decree title in Munson. Defendants are warned to appear before noon on the first day of the next term beginning February 27 1882 or face default and judgment. Also notice of a separate petition by Lawrence seeking quiet title to Lots 1 and 2 in section 10 township 91 range 49 W, with similar appearance deadline and potential judgment. Also an unrelated public ad for Cole’s Carbolisalve.

Each tract is identified by section township range and property descriptions with sale dates February 16 1882 at 2 pm at the court house in LeMars Ledlars or Mars. Auctions proceed to satisfy debts and costs to the highest bidder for cash.
