Freeporter Crash Hospitalizes Man After Route 28 Collision
Kittanning State Police said a weekend spate of area road accidents left one man hospitalized with a possible skull fracture and another with minor injuries. Theodore Douglas, 55, of Freeport remained at Allegheny Valley Hospital with injuries after his car collided with Neal Simpson, 22, of Natrona Heights on PA 28 five miles north of Freeport. Simpson avoided more serious injuries, was treated and released. Damages to Simpson’s car were about 500 dollars. Earlier, Darlene Muzzio and Campbell McNutt suffered no injuries in a collision on US 422 west of Kittanning, with estimated damages of 300 and 75 dollars respectively. A Cowansville crash north of town caused no injuries.
