Zurich authorities report a Swissair Caravelle crashed minutes after takeoff from Kloten Airport, burning and killing all 80 aboard. Passengers include Swiss nationals and foreigners from Israel, Belgium, Egypt, Iran, the United States, and Britain. one American among the dead is possible. The crash left a crater in a field near Duerrenaesch, 20 miles west of Zurich, with bodies in damaged condition making identification difficult. Elderly Man Safe in Ohio Car Crash

Driver Hurt When Truck Overturns Near Sarver
A United Parcel Service driver, Larry Dailey, 24, of 509 N Jefferson St, escaped serious injury when his truck overturned on Route 356 near Sarver.
