Major Designs Fairgrounds Display by State Lick Guard
Major Robert M. Johnston of Worthington designed a 14 foot high display enclosure on a flatbed trailer for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. The 28,000 pound exhibit features a Falcon missile, rockets, ejection seats, radar gear, a jet engine, parachute, drag chute and chaff dispenser. The display tours Western Pennsylvania fairs including Butler County Fair and moves to Uniontown, Greene County, Washington County, Greensburg, Indiana and Allegheny County this August.

In Los Angeles, German born real estate salesman Eugene Weingand, 29, seeks to change his name to Peter Lorre Jr. prompting objections from Peter Lorre's attorney. The actor's lawyer argues against any use of the name and the judge set October 3 for a hearing. Weingand says friends call him Peter Lorre and he has begun using it.
