Members of the Widneon Methodist Woman's Society of Christian Service met in the church social rooms and donated 10 dollars to the Church Builders Club. Mrs. Clara Stockhill led worship, with readings from Isaiah, and Mrs. Darlene Bennett gave a devotional on the 25th anniversary of the society. Mrs. Barbara Traister opened the business session and highlighted the motto words on the program cover. A secretary’s report and a missionary letter from Miss Eastling in India were read.

E Franklin Fire Aides Plan Founder's Day Dinner
Plans were made for a county PTA Founder's Day Dinner on Feb 13 as East Franklin Township Fire Department Auxiliary members met Tuesday. Mrs. Jack Steffy and Mrs. James Tarr were appointed chairmen for the dining. The meeting opened with the Lord's Prayer led by president Mrs. Russell Foster. Minutes were read and approved. A motion to hold the meeting on the first Tuesday of the month was made by Mrs. Steffy. Cards were sent to the Applewold Fire Department Auxiliary, Mrs. Carl Tarr and Mrs. Charles Delp.
