Kenyon-Connell Company Dissolves After Disastrous Explosions

Judge orders dissolution of the Kenyon-Connell Commercial company once thriving before a January 1595 warehouse explosion. Massive damages and numerous lawsuits led to receivership, settlements, and eventual dissolution. The nearby Butte Hardware firm, damaged by a second blast, remains largely defunct. Patrick Largey, president, was killed by Thomas Riley in January 1898. Riley is serving a life sentence.
