Runaway Hacks Cause Devastation at Depot Destruction
Three runaways at the depot delayed the Coeur d'Alene train last night, wrecking one hack and injuring others. William Thibodeau drove Hayes and Marsh’s hack. frightened horses bolted, struck Cartwell’s City Stables team, then hit Jacobson’s team. Jacobson’s rig overturned. Cartwell’s team raced past the European Hotel as the Sheeny Kid saved his coach, though wheels and pole were damaged.
