Peculiar Aaccident in which a livery horse injures rider
Yesterday a curious accident occurred as Mr Will Crank invited Miss Godson for a ride. A misfired rifle discharged by the rider caused the horse to be wounded in the thigh but the animal soon recovered. The incident prompted fear of future rides. Mrs Emil Altman was knocked down on Church avenue and suffered a broken nose in a separate mishap. City bicycle rules now restrict riding on side streets with bells and lights required.
