Republican rally at Joseph Ethier's boulevard adds tense note
At the Boulevard addition last evening about 75 attendees gathered for a Republican rally. Much of the audience spoke French, addressed by M. Le Blanc, with D. J. Gland as chairman and T. Mountain View Epworth League Hosts Delightful Social Evening
A Mountain View Methodist church social by the Epworth League offered an uncharged, no refreshments gathering to promote fellowship. Performances included piano solos by Minnie Seymour and Richard Crestrai, recitations by Cargill and Hargraves, a popular Weirick vocal duo, a Ballard cello solo, and phonograph selections, followed by social games. The church was decorated as a parlor and the league plans more socials to foster membership bonds.
