Special to the Inter Mountain Helena Oct Montana Republican committee issues registration rules for voting. Voters must register from Oct 16 to Oct 27 inclusive with provisions for disability and absence. If residing in towns with over one thousand registered voters, registration is mandatory to vote. Those who moved or were registered elsewhere may need to re register. verify name accuracy by 6 pm the Saturday before election. If a registrar dies or resigns, voting eligibility transfers to the county level.
