Fire destroys Cincinnati club grand stand

Cincinnati May 28 The grand stand of the Cincinnati baseball club at Western avenue and Friday street was almost totally destroyed by fire at an early hour. Only a portion was saved and the loss is about 15000 dollars. The Cincinnati and Boston game scheduled for this afternoon will be postponed. Tragedy in Amelia as Wise Family Hit by Gunfire

In Amelia Minnesota last night William Wise and his wife were shot in residence during a card game with four children. Seven year old William Wise died instantly, 11 year old James was wounded, another boy and the mother were fatally struck, while two daughters escaped to a closet. The shooter is unknown.
