Postal frauds shake Havana as shortages mount

In Havana on May 9, officials disclosed a $75,000 shortage in postal receipts with a continuing monthly shortfall of about $13,000 since July. Forest Fire Destroys Corbett Town in Pennsylvania

A forest fire near Corbett five miles west of Galeton, Pennsylvania, left five buildings standing and caused severe burns to women and children. An relief train evacuated residents but was forced back a mile from Vorbett. An elderly couple, Geo Luke and his wife, perished in the flames while many others escaped with serious injuries. People’s Party Convention in Sioux Falls report

At the Peoples Party convention in Sioux Falls the weather was favorable for arrivals including Senator Heitfeld and Temporary Chairman Ringsdale.
