Supreme Court Halts Boston and Montana receivership action
The Supreme Court enjoined the district court in Silver Bow and Thomas R. Hinds the receiver from taking possession of the Boston and Montana Consolidated Copper and Silver Mining property. The order delayed further action to March 22 1899 and required show cause why restraint should not continue. The writ stemmed from contempt proceedings and contested motions to stay and increase the receiver bond amid ongoing arguments over prior orders and remittitur.
