Bicycle Thief Fined After Wild Montana Highway Chase
Misoula June 12 1900 Oscar Schielke fined 25 dollars after a 2 mile pursuit by Officer McGregor when a bicycle stolen from Herman Norquist near the Montana hotel Sunday night was tracked through Higgins avenue West Front street and into the country. Schielke claimed to have bought the wheel for 15 dollars but the jury did not accept the tale. Norquist questioned the charge but the thief was captured and jailed.
