Rich Strike At Spain Mine At French Gulch Heads Toward Wealth
A rich mining strike at Spain mine at the head of French Gulch promises great wealth for Anaconda owners W R Allen and T J Ward. Discovered six years ago, a tunnel reached 250 feet and a three foot vein yielded 21 dollars of gold 60 ounces of silver and 62 cents copper per ton.
