A Wife's Infidelity Recited by the Wronged Husband
A Montana morning report recounts a husband’s tale of discovery and heartbreak. Married about a year, he built a home on Colorado street, saved money, and planned a future before suspicions of his wife’s indiscretions led to a dramatic confrontation at a Galena street lodging house. A man followed, gained entry with a policeman, and found the wife with another woman and two men. The husband, shaken, chose to leave, decline divorce or adultery prosecution, and return to his mother’s home, amid a quiet, resigned sorrow. The piece then unexpectedly shifts to a land survey and mining claim notice in Silver Bow County, detailing coordinates, boundaries, and rights sought for the Copper Trust lode and related claims, with legal-administrative language and boundaries described for public notice.
