Helena Senate Debates Bills On Health and Antipathy
Helena witnesses heated discussion over Senate Bill 87 and a state health board proposal. MacGinnis opposes the bill, claiming it wrecks state virtues, while Gilchrist seeks time extensions and a vote is deferred. The health measure would require vaccination proofs for children and teachers, with penalties for noncompliance, but key sections were dropped before passage. The day also features fusion party commentary, a judge appointment, and lighthearted pranks on MacGinnis via party-line telephones at the Helena hotel.
