Washington February 14 The Republican steering committee met to set the order of business for the session and discussed withdrawing the ship subsidy measure The plan to delay other appropriation bills was rejected and a tilt toward a possible extra session grew more favorable amid debate and political maneuvering.
Delegate Wilcox of Mawati wins in a House committee on elections and is assured a seat in the U.S. House.
