Savannah Ga Feb 14 Two lifeboats from the steamship Lawrence remain missing and 14 men aboard are feared lost after the vessel wrecked near Port Royal bar. Capt Willis ordered boats as the ship broke up in high seas and bitter cold. Boat No 2 reached Paris Island with 7 men and officers. boats 3 and 4 are still missing with several crew. Survivors endured freezing spray, hunger, and exhaustion before aid arrived.
