The total in South Africa would then be 194000 effectives exclusive of sick and wounded.

They reportedly slept in the executive building for a period and will be confined until more precise information about their whereabouts at the time of the assassination emerges. Both deny knowledge of the crime.

Plague In Honolulu Report From Alameda Quarantine

The Alameda arrived from Australian ports via Samoa and Honolulu and was ordered to quarantine. Dr. Kinyon reports no new plague cases in Honolulu up to Feb 2, with January 25 being the last.
