Richard Dawe dies after long illness at Mountain View mine
Richard H. Dawe, a long time foreman at the Mountain View and Pennsylvania mines, died at his home after a year of ill health and a recent pneumonia. A respected citizen and Mason, he was born in Cornwall, England, and leaves a widow and a brother, Joseph Dane, a shift boss in this city. The body is to be transported to Nevada City, California.
