Coffee cargo seizure looms as quarantine continues

In New York on December 1 the cargo of coffee from the plague ship J W Taylor remains under quarantine. Health officials refuse comment, saying the coffee cannot land, while the Hehters lighters will be released from quarantine by Saturday if eight days pass. If the coffee lands it will be seized and condemned as unsanitary.

Hobart's Will Filed in Paterson Probate

The will of Tate Vice-President Hobart was filed for probate in Paterson New Jersey. The estate is understood to be about two and a half million dollars with the widow receiving one million dollars and half of the remainder. Son Garret Hobart Jr. would inherit the other half at majority after bequests are settled.
