The firm promises monthly dividends of at least 2 percent on all outstanding stock though no mines are in operation. G W Rumble testified about a game like clock raids and serves as secretary treasurer and general manager. The nominal president is Mrs K B Allington of Rochester New York.
A miner at Fort Yukon writes to a Selkirk friend with alleged Andree news. He quotes natives saying a balloon landed near the Mackenzie mouth last winter, crews camped, launched the car, then dropped something onto the ice and disappeared. Natives feared to visit the Camp.
Victoria B C August 11 the government will abolish the 10 per cent royalty and set up a Dawson government assay office to take gold at exact worth with certificates redeemable at full face value by banks. A small export duty will be imposed on the gold. Two dominion Parliament members will be elected from Dawson in October.
