Reports from Mayflower district Madison county indicate a body of ore opened recently on the West Mayflower may yield as much as the old Mayflower claim which produced over 1,500,000 dollars in ore. The West Mayflower is owned by Cotter Owsley and Co of Butte. Sunrise claims are probing for the Mayflower ore body with a shaft down 400 feet and crosscuts toward the Mayflower ground to strike it at depth.
