Fellowship Club Organized Gains Interdenominational Backing

In Chicago a new Inter-denominational fellowship club for ministers was formed with Rev. J. W. Fiefield elected president and Rev. W. Trushingham secretary. Attendees included Rev. Myron W. Haynes, Rev. J. H. O Smith, and Rev. Frank M. Carson. A telegram from Rev. W. A. Waterman of La Salle supported expansion in the Philippines. The group hopes to unite religious leaders for concerted action and plans a dinner in two weeks to discuss expansion and other questions.

Movement on Calumpit advances toward town

A Manila dispatch reports General Hale's brigade crossing the Calumpit river at Quingua and pushing toward Calumpit. Insurgents flee the line, fifty of the enemy killed to one American. MacArthur with Wheaton's brigade and an armored train is said to await a Malolos advance. Malolos to be evacuated except for the railway station as natives return in numbers.

Denver April 25 parties arriving from Byers County 70 miles east of Denver report the body of Otto Goette aka Rowan a sheep rancher murdered on his ranch September 1880 1898.
