Bozeman reports a lighter barley crop than last year with tight supply. Ranchers rush to sow spring wheat as mills prefer hard wheat, but farmers forecast good returns from spring varieties if the season allows. Fire equipment, measles in town, and Red Men lodge efforts also appear amid celebratory events and spring weather.
