A prior accusation by lodger Katie Bush led to a vitriol incident in court. Bush later pleaded guilty to a separate charge and is serving a year in the penitentiary.

An application for a writ of habeas corpus on behalf of Allen Maley was filed with Judge Clancy and will be heard at 9 o clock tomorrow. Maley has been jailed since December 28 and seeks to learn where he will be placed. He was arrested in connection with a suspected role in the disappearance of bullion from the Bi Metallic stamp mill in Granite County, where John Boyd is awaiting trial. The filing contends Maley is unlawfully deprived of liberty by the sheriff of Silver Bow County.
