Desperate San Francisco Youth Nabbed After Coin Theft
A 23 year old San Francisco youth was arrested in Marin after attempting to steal coins from a cash register at a San Rafael shop. A companion fled. Fairfax firemen responded to a late night fire at Deer Park Villa on Salinas road. Owner Joseph Ghiringhelli doused flames from the roof with a hand extinguisher before fire crews arrived. Truck Falls Driver Safe After 35 Foot Embankment Drop
Thomas A Preston of 37 Kent avenue Fairfax stepped from an unloaded Parish and Company dump truck after a motorist crowded it to the roadside. The truck slid down a 35 foot embankment on Bolivan road south of Deer Park Villa. Preston was shaken but not injured and declined hospital treatment.
