Discovery Of Cancer Fungi Revealed At Meeting Of American Scientists
Dr Irene Corey Diller of the Institute for Cancer Research reported at the AAAS meeting that fungi found in 20 human cancers and 100 mouse cancers may exist in all cancers but not in healthy tissue. The tropical and soil fungi, Altenaria and Syncephalastrum rasemosum, were observed, while caution was urged that more work is needed to prove a cancer cause.
