Family quarrel ends in fatal shooting in San Francisco
Etta Mae Wright, 22, was killed and her mother Mrs. Ophelia Duncan of San Rafael critically wounded in a shooting at 906 McAllister street. Jodie Wright, 29, is held after surrendering five hours later. Police say the incident followed a recent battery arrest of the wife and involved a common law husband. Clinton Robinson and Wilburt Wright, a 6 and 4 year old, were unharmed. Duncan is hospitalized in critical condition.

Twenty year old Raymond Miller Jr. a sailor from the U S Navy stationed in San Francisco was driving along Highway 101 near Sausalito late last night in a rush to reach friends. He passed a car then collided with a California Highway Patrol vehicle and rolled 99 feet along the shoulder. Miller was uninjured and received a speeding ticket from the patrol officer.

Two Airmen Injured In Lincoln Avenue Crash Near Death
